i want to play the drums soooo bad!! I mean , come on, how fun would it be to just jam out? unfortunately my mom doesn't think it would be to fun, so...Anyway , first i would jam for a month then i would get lessons.....that's not a bad idea. So i guess I'll just keep asking and hopefully she will give in. one of my better talents...determination!

I think the drums would be awesome, too.
Mark used to play the drums for a band in junior high. It really helped him when he was in BYU's touring choir. (maybe that will help your mom get over her concerns)
Anyway, I think you'd totally rock on the drums. If you get a set, let me know because I've always wanted to play them, too. (you might look on craigslist, they always have good stuff there)
Hey Nick- Very impressive blog. I wish I would get off my butt and make one. I have an even better idea, you could do one for my family!!! I know it would be funny then, because funniness runs in your family. (just ask your mom about 24 hours a day). I liked the line of underwear, it added a nice touch I think. Good luck getting the drums. My brother played and he is a good guy but he use to pound on EVERYTHING ALL THE TIME!! He taught me some cool stuff though and I always wanted to be able to be good at it.

You rock. And actually if you got a set of drums you could truly rock. Keep begging your mom. Maybe you should keep drumming on everything and then she will finally give in! She'll love that.
